It cleans up to 800 sq ft. Consumers give the Alen A350 3 Â½ stars. Many people love the unit and feel relief with use. There were a few low ratings because of defective units.

Alen Paralda HEPA Air Purifier

The Alen Paralda, list price $499, also offers a UV lamp to kill bacteria on the filter. The Alen T100, list price $149, does have a HEPA filter, but is only rated to clean 84% of particles. The ionizer on the T100 can be on or off, which is helpful if you find you really like it, or if you find it irritates your lungs. It purifies up to 125 sq ft. It only weighs 8 lbs, so it is a lightweight little portable unit. It gets high ratings from consumers. They like the compact size, the inexpensive HEPA filter- $20, and find it purifies the air well.
